Sheep Head (Dry point) is from my range of 'Large Original Artworks' that are available framed for collection or can be posted unframed in a tube to prevent damage.


The Mourne Mountains are full of these black faced sheep. This image is is created by a printmaking technique know as dry point . The image is scraped into the surface of a flat printing plate. The plate is then inked and put through an etching press.

  • The image is created by hand on my etching press and then painted with watercolours and pastels. I create a number of versions from each plate but each one is unique.
