Big Pig is from my range of 'Large Original Artworks' that are available framed for collection or can be posted unframed in a tube to prevent damage.


There was a craze a few years ago for keeping miniature pigs as a result of the Babe films. We got one and he had great time rooting about in a bit of ground where we also kept chickens. He loved his food and sleeping all day long in his house. On hearing footsteps he would make an effort to get up and walk to the fence and would snort in disgust if you hadn't anything for him. He didn't stay miniature for very long.

  • The image is created by hand on my etching press and then painted with watercolours and pastels. I create a number of versions from each plate but each one is unique.
