This is my version of a native Irish Hare. It has shorter ears than the brown hare. This one is sitting by a Fairy Thorn Tree. These trees are still respected and most are left well alone. In the countryside you will often see a small gnarled thorn tree sitting in the middle of a field. It has held on because generations of farmers have worked around it rather than pulling it up.


  • These originals are mixed media artworks that would look nice hanging on a wall. I also have a smaller version of this one for photo frames.
