Two ancient characters meet while out with their dogs. I have a dog with a similar shape although I don't look much like these two. The idea behind the artwork is that down through the ages we have kept hounds and the places that we walk are the same. I live near the top of a mountain that has a burial cairn and I take the dogs up there most days for a bit of exercise and a chat with the ancestors.



  • These originals are mixed media artworks that would look nice hanging on a wall
  • I used my etching press to create this image from inked up shapes and then added watercolours
  • Somerset soft white textured paper (300gsm)
